This security update for Microsoft Word 2002 (Word XP) is best described as a mini service pack. It features 38 fixes for Word XP, plus it addresses two important security issues. These security holes could allow a hacker or virus to get onto your system (for the technically minded, the problem lies in two buffer underrun errors that could lead to remote code execution).
